Please ignore those 1-star reviews. I have been writing estimates for insurance companies and body shops for over 20 years. I know El Camino Body Shop very well and they are actually much better than most facilities. The complaint about delays is very common in the industry. Most people dont understand what happens during the course of collision repair. I sent my car for body repairs and the staff told me that it would be ready by a certain date.However, when the day came, I called the shop to make sure it was ready, and the staff person who answered the telephone rudely told me that it wasnt ready and that it would be ready in 2 days. So I waited 2 days, and when the day came, the staff told me again that the car wasnt ready and to wait another 2 days. pathetic service. they just keep on delaying things and take their own sweet time. They promise for a date and keep on adding few days everytime you ask them. and they are rude as well. they keep on saying that the parts have not arrived and that the dealers fault, and if you want your car then just come and take it half done.Its frustating to deal with them.
