The staff have a very bad attitude. They refuse to communicate properly with customers and seem more interested in getting people out than providing good service. Very disappointing experience.
The sushi and rolls were out of this world. Chef Merts, the head chef created some chef’s choice rolls that were so so good. The taste and texture and flavor profiles were phenomenal. Sara and Lily were great servers and provided exceptional recommendations.
We came here the summer of 2021 when they first opened and I must say the food quality was exceptionally pleasing and very tasteful . Unfortunately, the restaurant isn’t what it used to be. The food lacks the freshness, creativity, and consistency that kept us coming back. It feels like something important has changed, and the overall experience has suffered because of it. I visited Ekki Sushi at Bel Air Tremblant and unfortunately the experience was disappointing, especially for the price point. We spent over $300 and expected much higher quality and service. The wait time for the food was very long, and several dishes lacked freshness and flavor. Salmon sashimi is not even that fresh. Tuna sashimi is smell bad too.
