My mother had a very upsetting experience with Dr Lee Ek at EK Dental Surgery. During her dental appointment, Dr Ek repeatedly made negative comments about China, despite knowing that my mother is Chinese. My mother responded calmly that China has both good and bad aspects, as every country does. Dr Ek then responded with words to the effect of, “If China is so good, why did you come to Australia?” My mother found this comment deeply uncomfortable and disrespectful. The worst dental I have ever seen. Teeth Cleaning only takes about 10 minutes. the rinse water runs though my neck, and the doctor says, it is fine... never, ever had this bad experience.
First of all, I have dentophobia; the very thought of going to the dentist makes me shiver with fear. Unfortunately, one my of back teeth cracked yesterday so I had no choice but to seek dental treatment. I knew deep down it had to be extracted. I am lucky to have booked Dr Lee EK, a very experienced, gentle and reassuring dentist. I visited EK Dental after feeling something sharp in the gum where my wisdom tooth was removed years ago. Dr. Shirley Li was incredibly warm and calming. She found a small tooth fragment and removed it gently and painlessly. I’m so grateful for her care and will happily return for my next check-up.
