I am beyond Grateful for Eddie and the whole Entire team at E&J Jerome service! I ran across this shop on google and I am glad I did. I was quoted $700 from (DJS Automotive repair in Amsterdam NY) to have my intake manifold replaced. I called around and I was able to get Eddie on the phone and he told me to bring my car in- less then a day later my car was fixed and check engine light was off- $130 later this included the Diagnosis and repair. My car was making a really weird sound that was progressively getting worse, and I just got this (used) car a couple of months ago, so I was kind of worried. It turned out to be a bad wheel bearing, but my CV axle was also trashed- which is apparently a bad thing. Anyway- they saved a couple of hundos by getting the parts online instead on in-town. They held a small opening offering hot dogs and the most delicious steak & pepper shish kabobs with an array of toppings. The small gathering was only open for DSS workers as they dipped their feet in the water for approximately two hours. They offered cold drinks and gathered around for some great conversations on a beautiful sunny day. As a CAPTAIN employee who always has the pleasure of working at DSS with clients, my CO-worker/best friend and I were also able to enjoy the fantastic lunch. These guys went out of their way to help me out of a huge jam when I went from having two perfectly good running vehicles to ZERO vehicles all within a matter of a couple of days. They even managed to save me some bucks where they could as I was just starting work with a brand new job out of town and made sure I had a vehicle to drive for the Fourth of July weekend.
