Absolutely delicious ramen and shumai. The owners are so sweet, too. Loved it, hope they come back soon!
A food truck serving authentic Japanese ramen, poke and rice bowls. We had the miso and shoyu ramen and both were excellent. (And I say that as a person from Japan. ) It's at a public parking lot so we brought camping chairs and tables to enjoy them while they're fresh and hot. Will definitely return.
Local secret Japanese traditional-style ramen cart (a "yatai"). A ramen truck that appears in the overflow Cos Cob parking lot on Sundays (and some other locations/times on their website). Delicious authentic ramen served by a friendly Japanese couple. Reasonably priced ($14-$16 for ramen) with other options including gyoza dumplings and poke bowls. They will specifically pack your ramen for take out using special containers. Probably best ramen in the area outside of New York City.
