I hate going to the dentist. There are few things I hate as much as dental work. I had a bad experience as a kid and it's stuck with me. So I tend to be nervous and edgy when in the chair. I was in a bind. My dentist went AWOL in the middle of a root canal. Well, he gave up on the root canal and was going to extract it, then went AWOL. I needed help and I didn't have time to interview doctors. I was basically at the mercy of the recommendation of my insurance company. Not a great situation. Absolute horrendous experience. The nurses were wonderful, however the dentist was combative, condescending and contradicting. Took 3 times to try get one x-ray. Told me I needed a root canal without even seeing the x-ray....then said he would not treat me because I was a first time patient and he didn't know me---hello? The most bizarre experience to date. The first time I have ever walked out of a doctor's office. Complete waste of time. PS: New Dentist (Caring Dental, Marlboro, NJ) no root canal and only one x-ray!
He’s great. Wouldn’t go anywhere else
I have been going to Dr Larry for over 15 years. After moving to South NJ, I still travel over 1 hr for him to do all of my dental work. I have had several cavities, caps, replacement caps and one or two root canals over that time frame. His work is EXCELLENT, cost is fair (for both sides) and his staff is professional/very good and timely.
