There are times when you can tell that someone has vast amounts of experience from how they go through a project. While I didn't hire him, I did call up Jim with some questions about local resources that could help me with my first cutting board project. I ended up going to his shop and he not only walked me through best practices and advice of how to avoid issues and the like, but also broke out his planer and fixed my wonky cutting board project.
