Worst experience ever don't answer calls and when they do they are very rude to deal with. My house has been left abandoned 7 months still not finished leaving my home open to the public can't organise to finish anything off cant answer any questions at all. Wouldn't build ever again very disgusting choose some other bulder not these guys. IF YOU CANT DELIVER DONT DO BUSINESS AT ALL !!!
Our experience with Eight Homes has been incredibly disappointing and stressful. Before purchasing our land, we raised concerns about potential overshadowing issues and provided all the property details so the team could confirm whether a double-storey build would be possible. job details: Job No. 132840, Lot 1408, Officer South VIC 3809. Once you sign up with 8 Homes, your nightmare begins. The moment you sign the contract, you’ll realise you’ve fallen into a trap. From that point on, you’ll get zero communication, endless lies, and complete disrespect. My house has been under construction for over 15 miserable months, and it’s still nowhere near completion. Eight homes builder despite acknowledging defects of bent alfresco door frame, damaged floor boards and cracked bath within the prescribed defect period. Refuses to fix the defects, and prefers to argue internally about who is at fault between the builder, supplier and manufacturer. Despite acknowledging it was not us as the home owner. Avoid eight homes as they have internal bureaucracy that will cause hastles and delay your home. One star.
It was our first home and we had worst experience with 8homes. Firstly, there were lots of delays in construction. Then when there was a final inspection, still a lot of things were remaining. They promised, they’d complete it before settlement date. On settlement, they handover the keys and said will send someone to complete the pending work. Whole facade render colour wasn’t done.
