I recently just completed my stay at Willowview’s recovery center this past February and I am giving the institution and all of the staff a full five stars! I want to give a special shout-out to my group counsellor Janna Purdy. She had her hands full with me. My daughter left after almost 16 weeks in worse shape than she went in. Her mental health was NEVER addressed, she was treated poorly by most of the staff. She was even told in group to stop asking so many questions, she was told people were afraid of her. Her confidence was shattered. I begged to let her see her own psychiatrist and she was taken once, but desperately needed to see him again and stay on meds he prescribed. Do not go there if you have any mental health disabilities or if addicted to cannabis. They will not accommodate you and take no responsibility for any concerns brought forward. Pretty much you have to be clean and need longer term coping skills only for hard drugs or alcohol.

Please take the time to read the long written review prior to sending your loved one here. She hits on many valid points. My family member has been there for roughly 12 weeks as well...And the issues she experienced are still occurring. I almost wrote a review 4 weeks in.. but thought I’d give it time.
