I've spent a lot of time thinking about my time at Edgewood a few years ago. I would avoid this place if the driver for your substance use is anxiety, depression, trauma or ptsd. This is a place for a certain type of person and it was not me. I was humiliated, embarrassed and shamed here and it made my addiction 10x worse after I left because the root cause was never addressed. Amazing place. Hard work, but worth everything I did. I use the tools I learned at Edgewood every day! Very grateful to that beautiful place and amazing staff
My adhd, bipolar diagnosis went unrecognized. Still sick.
