Had a bad encounter with Front Desk Yvette. There was an error with charges and they didn’t charge me for the correct amount and her way of handling it was by calling me, stating I ignored them and threatened me with legal action. I asked her to check cameras and speak to her coworkers before accusing me but she deemed no use in doing that. Ended up speaking with Areli and she was awesome and we were able to settle payment. We stayed for just one night but really enjoyed this cute, thoughtfully restyled mid-century modern motel. The artistic touches throughout the property give it a unique character, and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. Each room had its own flair, which made the experience feel special and curated rather than cookie-cutter. The staff were warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about the place—they offered great recommendations and made us feel right at home. This place was an absolute dream to stay in. Every inch of the hotel has a hidden charm! From the decor to the furniture, it all feels so retro. The pool is also amazing to cool off in and what a vibe! Music, table games, and a beautiful restaurant to eat at! This place can’t be beat. If I’m ever in the area, I would love to stay there again!
We had a fun stay at the Egyptian Motor Lodge. They have done a great job of renovating this older motel to make it fun, hip, and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning was not turned on in the room before we entered, and there was no way with the brick walls, it would cool down anytime soon.
