In 2022, I went to the ER for the second time that day. It was determined that I would need emergency decompression surgery the surgery went well, but I did get comments like “I’ve never seen anything like that before” and “ What a mess”. He came to the hospital the next day, on his way to the airport to check in on me. Not to many surgeons would do that kind of follow up. 3 years later and I am 100% pain free.
Dr. Doppenberg has done several surgeries for me. I can honestly say that his passion for what he does absolutely shows through his bedside manner. This is a doctor who listens to his patients, treats each one individually and not as a statistic, he is by far the best surgeon I have ever had. Myself Being a disabled veteran and having suffered massive trauma to my body, I have never had a surgeon like him - he is absolutely barnone the best out there. Awesome! After having several bad experiences with other Neurosurgeons, I was very grateful for being able to visit with Dr. Doppenberg. Totally professional and caring, Dr. Doppenberg thoroughly explained to me my current spine issues and how they should be treated. Highly, highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
