Carolyn provided a fair and accurate valuation. Like most people, I researched extensively the current market value of other properties in the area of a similar size/condition, and her valuation aligned closely with that. She was also friendly and professional, communicating clearly and promptly about inspection availability and timelines. And, importantly, she prepared her report quickly, at the busiest time of the year - December, in line with our tight deadline
All things considered an appalling experience - the valuation was off by over 50%! The valuation process was seriously flawed - not aligning with basic trend data for the area. Egan failed to speak to the property sales agent to ascertain the level of buyer interest in property. They delivered their valuation on the same day an offer was accepted on the property.
