Matt & Garry provide great customer and product service; up front & personal and no computerized answering machine BS. Very hard to discount the 20+ years of innovation and development. Highly cost effective, outstanding technical support and quick turnaround times mark this company as the best out there.
I thought I would share my thoughts on the EFM auto clutch I purchased for my 2011 Husqvarna txc 449. After many years of trying to get it to work correctly I can say I have given it plenty of time. The clutch bolts will not stay put the cheap small washer like springs don't last... it is made from very cheap aluminum. STAY AWAY from EFM auto clutch! If you can't make a good product just don't take someone's money.
I’m sure this was well manufactured but after two short rides I discovered that you have to ride in a VERY specific way or you will burn out your clutch plates. On my second ride, the oil light came on and the bike (Triumph Speed 400) shut off at a stop light to stop it from overheating. I am now having to purchase new clutch plates and am re-installing the manual clutch. Maybe if you ride it perfectly you will have a different experience. EFM was not interested in any sort of refund or compensation. Buyer beware.
Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Emailed about their product and Gary said use common sense. What kind of response is that. I asked them to provide their instructions and torque specs and whatever else I needed. Will never buy from this company again simply due to his response. Would never recommend to anyone either. Just go rekluse instead
