I had a really disappointing experience with Effort Trust Company and would strongly caution anyone considering them for a mortgage. From the start, the process lacked professionalism. Communication was inconsistent, responses were slow, and getting clear answers to basic questions felt like pulling teeth. Important details were never properly explained upfront. Mortgage doubled in size well over $2,000 have contacted them explaining some financial difficulty and could have a payment waived for a month and then it be moved to the principal the answer is always know they don't want to work with you and they don't care about their clients also told if Miss a payment would get a $200 NSF fee. This place is crooked
