This is the most affordable place to stay in Douglasville, G.A. The customer service is GREAT, they have the most considerate staff that will go to the moon and back to help ANYONE! The area is very peaceful; If you are passing through or just waiting to get your place I would recommend the Efficiency Lodge on Fairburn Road Douglasville G.A. to all.
The owner is racist. my car got broken into someone vandalized my car on the property the management did nonthing. She looked at me like I was in falt. They harassed me and my friend who also stay on property
Horrible horrible horrible place. Old management was ghetto and a hot mess. NEW management is rude and racist. Roach roach roach infested. No matter how clean you are, how many times u bomb the room, or how much spray u use the roach don't leave. They come out of every where. The room are poorly put together. Bootleg hook up. I do not recommend staying at this lodge, the Hispanic lady who runs the place is very mean and rude. She will try to kick you out over the littlest things. She is just the worst person and I wish to never come in contact with her ever again.
This lodge is not as bad, it really depends on you, if you dont bother nobody, nobody bothers you, just stay to your self,everyone is nice and cool,the police is always over here like its a police station, which can be a good thing because if you ever have a problem they are always there. The top of the lodge is cool but the bottom is Afghanistan, something always popping off, you dont need to go to the movies, its live action. Police's be having big guns over here. Lorene Lodge has had a bad rep for many years as the 'slum of Marietta' and while its improved some its still not up to standards of what people expect for the cost. The people are nice, the 'neighbors' are nice but still has a lot of 'riff-raff' and undesired activity. They do what they can. The place is infested with roaches in spite of monthly pest control--that's just that area. I was scared when I had to stay there but was there about 8 weeks with no problems.

If u dont smoke CRACK, drink BEER, have KIDS, or NOT KILLING SOMEONE, & your hard of Hearing. DO NOT STAY AT THE EFFICIENCY LODGE ON BANKHEAD HWYIN CARROLLTON!!!!!!! There is no Maintance Man on duty, the rooms are nasty, the sinks are HANGING OFF THE WALL, the plumpin is VERY VERY BAD. The Blankets are filled with bugs, the dresser & floor are torn apart.
