Installation of solar panels on neighbour's property which trespassed. Trespass onto my semi-detached property (left one) by about 30cm along depth of roof with potential to de-value both properties. Did not respond via neighbour to rectify until surveyor and solicitor had to get involved to move them. Still out of pocket for surveyor and legal costs as a direct result of their incompetence.
I recently had Effective Homes install solar panels at my home, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. During the installation, the engineers drilled into my external wall, damaging wiring, including my Ring doorbell and earthing wire, which I was unaware of until my wired Ring doorbell stopped charging. It took multiple calls and persistent follow-ups before someone finally came out to assess the damage. Installation of solar panels went faultlessly with Carlton and Carl professional throughout. Kept us informed on what they were doing and worked with us to get the best cable runs into the house and fuse box. A pleasing experience from start to finish.
