Maldonado failed to submit request for approval for nerve block injection that was promised me. The approval normally takes 2 weeks to receive. As of day before yesterday, it's been over a month. Today I called Maldonado and was told by Mariana (office manager) that somehow they failed to submit the request for approval, and told me I would need to wait another 15 days. I visited this man on a referral. I hesitate calling him a doctor, because after his vile arrogant treatment on my first visit, its clear his pocket book and ego has long since overcome any memory of his Hippocratic oath. Simply put, after calling me no less than 4 times to confirm I would be on time to my 1PM appointment. He failed to walk in from his long lunch until almost 2PM. Been seeing the doctor since last year with great experiences until he closed his Margate office with no notification. The office manager calls to tell me that the doctor had an emergency at the wellington office and will not be in today so they had to cancel/reschedule my appointment. i rescheduled and then again received another call from office manager that doctor wasn't going to be in. Dr Maldonado has been a blessing to me. I could not ask for a better pain management doctor. He truly cares about his patients.
