Dr. Dominque Robinson Harris is the best doctor we have ever had. She treated my son for the past few years. I took him to his appt's. and sat in on her treatment options and advice. He had some life threatening conditions. Dr. Harris is very personable and a wonderful, caring doctor. She saved his life by reacting quickly when he was down to 20 to 30% breathing capacity, put him on portable oxygen and called an ambulance to take him immediately to the emergency room from her office. She is the best. My son passed away 2 mon... read more

My review is of the neurologist practice. We originally went there because of the neurologist that we heard about. He was great but for the last year we have only seen the PA. I recently went there because of a series of falls I had. The falls were a unique kind of fall that are related to Parkinson. I told her that I did not feel safe. I have had a series of these falls. In one I broke an elbow. In another one I cracked 3 ribs. She never addressed the issue of my safety. Not once. No assessment. No plan. Nothing. The entire... read more

Run! Don’t walk away from this trainwreck. Unless you like to be on hold “waiting for an available operator” for 15 minutes or so, only to be transferred to another number and again be on hold “waiting for another operator” for another 15 minutes or so. Forget it if you need to talk to a human! And when you do get to speak to humans, be prepared for arrogance. After all, their time is sooo much more valuable than yours! If you’re fortunate, then your doctor and his/her staff might have done its job. If not, then you’... read more

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE . WE HAD AN EMERGENCY TONIGHT THAT LANDED US AT BLOUNT MEMORIAL EMERGENCY ROOM. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL FROM THE FRONT DESK TO DR PEIPPER AND NURSE LAURIE ALONG WITH CIANA FROM ULTRASOUND. IT ISN'T OFTEN A HORRIBLE EVENT LEADS YOU TO COMPASSION AT A HOSPITAL WHEN EVERYONE IS UNDERSTAFFED AND SELF ABSORBED. NOT HERE. BLOUNT EXPLAINED EVERY STEP OF THE PROCESS. 5 STARS AND THANK YOU

I would love to leave 0 stars but it won’t let me. Coming from the healthcare field and the way you all handle your ER is PATHETIC. I hope your employees need care here and receive the same care that you provide the people. HORRIBLE. WORTHLESS and way less than a typical human should have to deal with.

I would give it zero stars if possible. Was visiting Gatlinburg when I thought I was experiencing a heart attack. Went to Blout Memorial Hospital in June 2022. I checked in and had my blood pressure checked, issued a bracelet and waited in the waiting room with a BP of 190/110 - for 3 hours. Finally left - drove 4 hours home to my local hospital where I was tested and diagnosed with a panic attack due to recent trauma. 7 months later . . . . I receive a bill for $330 - tried to fight the charge but because they pro... read more

Just wanted to say what a great experience I had with Doctor Douglas and his staff here. From start to finish I felt perfectly at ease and well taken care of . I had the TURP prostate surgery Doctor Douglas explained everything to me and talked and counseled me about my options. He was caring, concerned and very professional at all times in helping me make an informed decision All staff and employees in the office were also very polite , caring and friendly . ... read more

I wish I had read this page before I went to Blount. It’s the worst run hospital I have been to in my 65 years. I walked in at night with a high fever. I was made to wait over seven hour in their uncomfortable, cold waiting room. Then the doctor, who spent less than 5 minutes with me, misdiagnosed the fever, and sent me home with a prescription for antibiotics. My illness lasted 6 weeks. I had to see two other doctors and have additional tests. To make matters worse, they billed me over $2,000! And when I called to ma... read more

If I could leave no stars ✨ I would... Went to Blount Memorial ER tonight. Check-in-girl was rude and would not even acknowledge the questions I had. My questions for the most part were ignored. I told the girl at the Blount Memorial Hospital ER Triage Check-in-window that I am very sick, I have cancer, believe I have an infection and that I needed to know if the back of the ER was full or not, because if it was full then I was going to go to a different hospital because of how very sick I am. Instead, she kept repeating ... read more
