Got a Edwin Jagger DE89 DE Razor (Chrome) for Christmas and it's a great product, but the chrome stem seems to have a wax coating and makes it slippery when wet, might need to get the texture stem version now.
Have been using my Edwin Jagger DE89 for over 10 years now and I have no problem recommending this fab razor for beginners and experienced shavers alike. Just the right amount of blade exposure and gap gives you a ultra smooth shave with little risk of nicks, and the only change I made to mine was to swap handle to a solid stainless steel one as I prefer the extra weight.
