On April 1, 2010, I dropped a grader blade on my lower leg, severing both bones. I was taken to Holzer in Jackson. The next day, Dr. Hissa explained my injuries and how extensive they were. He said it would probably take two operations to repair my leg and the firsy surgery was scheduled for Monday. When I recovered from the surgery, Dr. Hissa explained that he had accomplished the repair in one surgery. I now have two steel plates and 23 screws in my leg but I have no problems and I don't limp.
