Review I am sharing my experience so that other pet owners can make informed decisions. In early February, I brought my 10-year-old dog, to Edwards Veterinary Clinic for evaluation of a hard lump. Bloodwork was performed and he was diagnosed with Lyme disease. During that appointment, I raised concerns about the lump multiple times and asked whether further diagnostics, such as imaging or a fine needle aspirate , were necessary. Today we had to bring in our ferret Meatball. It was not good and we knew there was a high probability he was not going to recover. We were presented with clear options and explanations. When his xray and bloodwork came back, we were walked through what everything meant, and unfortunately it was not good news. We appreciate the Dr. being up front and honest and not trying to squeeze every dime out of us on a treatment that wasnt going to work - we've been to other vets office that will push you to do things for the money. Edward’s Veterinary are truly lifesavers. They have repeatedly saved my dog’s life, and I genuinely don’t have enough words to express my gratitude. From emergency surgeries to ongoing care, they have always acted quickly, compassionately, and professionally. They treat my dog like their own and never make me feel rushed or unheard. Today was a day I'll never forget, the team here at Edwards are truly life saving 🥹 To say the least I thought I was gonna have to say good bye to my baby girl because I couldn't financially afford the whole bill for emergency surgery for my little girl, and instead of saying goodbye they gave me hope, hope that she could make it.
