Kathy Edwards J.D. LCPC and her staff are liars. If Kathy takes the time to talk to you which she wont unless you dangle a dollar in front of her she will make you feel belittled and she is in control. She has some serious mental issues and should not be a licensed clinical professional counselor, maybe a lawyer but I wouldn't hire her if she was the last lawyer on earth.

Did a horrible job. The home study included many untrue statements that were stated as truth without any proof, just took my ex's word for it. -I was charged $200 for her to contact people I listed to vouch for me as a parent. She did not contact any of them. -I was charged for court time, when we didn't even go to court because my ex hadn't paid the balance which she failed to mention until the day of court, thus trail was pushed back even further. -She requested to interview my girlfriend. Worst EVER – Called for legal advise. And the receptionist missed what I said and told the attorney something entirely different. When I advised my concerns were actually different she said you got your answer and hung up on me. Avoid this office at all costs.

She should really get out of the business – Kathy was very professional and nice at the beginning, but then quickly lost interest and virtually dropped off the face of the earth! We could have done much better in court without her! She clearly shows her lack of interest and acts like she'd rather be anywhere but with a client or in court! Stay FAR away from this poor excuse for a lawyer!

So happy I hired her twice! – Kathy handled a case I had regarding child support modification and contempt of court (for my ex). I was very happy with the results and felt she worked hard on my behalf. I have recently retained Kathy a second time to proceed with a step-parent adoption and expect the same good service! My experience has been that she is just as great the first time I met her as the numerous times I have spoken with/seen her since

Do Not Hire Kathy Edwards – The above reviews say exactly what I have experienced. She is horrible. Please don't hire her or you will be sorry! I am also reporting her to the state bar. She is now accusing me of being antagonistic because I have written her and asked her for updates and information I don't have and need. She wants me gone and I can not get any help from her. horrible attorney – I also hired Kathy Edwards for a custody modification. At consultation she was wonderful, I felt really good about hiring her. Once hired it was disapointment after disappointment. I have also filed a complaint with the bar. DO NOT HIRE

Not worth the money – I hired Kathy Edwards to do my divorce case. When I first met with her, she seemed great. I thought that I had hired the right attorney for me. But as my case went on, she totally lost interest. She would not do what I asked and when I asked to meet with her to discuss the future of my case her secretary would set the appointment, but then her secretary would call me back and say that Kathy was in court or busy and cancel my appointment. Not worth the money – She takes your money and refuses to do the work promised. She never ever returns phone calls. The only person you talk to is her assistant once you give her the money. Do not hire this attorney. You will waste your money!
