I was a loyal customer of this agency for over 50 years — long before it became ECM and now IMA. During that time, I trusted them to help ensure my coverage remained appropriate for my life and financial situation. Unfortunately, that trust was not reciprocated. As of Feb 12, no insurance cards have been issued. Coverage should have started Feb.1. Providers can't find us in their systems. Unable to to keep doctor appointments or pick up prescriptions. "It's being worked on". No resolution in sight. Use this company at your own risk. Is it the fault of United Health Care or ECM? Who knows? I just know $$$ is coming out of my paycheck for services NOT rendered. Prorate our costs and make this right. AND get the cards to us!
On 2 separate occasions, I never heard back from anyone. Once I was told "let me check on that and call you back" and once I attempted to file a claim, I was asked a few questions and never got a response. That was 3 weeks ago..
Not the same company it was. My business has been with them for 28 years, no one has called me for the last 10. I recently got quotes from other independent agents and found I was paying thousands of dollars per year too much. I got better coverage at a lower price by taking a couple of hours to call other agencies. Shame on me for not doing this sooner, but shame on ECM for not offering to review my insurance needs for the last decade.
