I had the same disappointing and upsetting experience described in the one-star reviews—almost word for word. He repeatedly criticized other medical professionals, claiming they are paid based on the number of words they use. His approach was discouraging and dismissive, offering no meaningful solutions while also suggesting that other specialists likely would not be able to help either. We were referred to Dr. Sun for what my son's pediatrician had diagnosed him with as mild scoliosis. Dr. Sun was very friendly and prepared. He had his xrays on the monitor, along with notes, and took the time to explain my son's condition, basically reassuring us that he actually didn't have scoliosis, but more of a spinal asymmetry, which is not unusual and would not affect his activities or quality of life. I was on time for my 8am appointment...but Dr. Sun was 40 minutes late (first appt of the day? come on.) ...when he comes in he asks me for what I'm here for... I waited 2 months for an appointment, they make me fill out on paper my entire medical history that I know is available electronically from my referring doctor, and he hadn't even bothered read my chart. I was referred by my primary care Dr. My first visit with him went well, he explained everything in a way that was easy to for me understand and went over step by step instructions and made my visit worth while and look forward to my next appointment. The front desk associates were very nice and polite and were so courteous in setting up my next follow up visit with Dr Sun.
