I was on time for my 8am appointment...but Dr. Sun was 40 minutes late (first appt of the day? come on.) ...when he comes in he asks me for what I'm here for... I waited 2 months for an appointment, they make me fill out on paper my entire medical history that I know is available electronically from my referring doctor, and he hadn't even bothered read my chart. He asked me questions but didn't once let me finish even a single sentence before talking over me. Complained repeatedly about how many words the other doctors wrote... read more

I was referred by my primary care Dr. My first visit with him went well, he explained everything in a way that was easy to for me understand and went over step by step instructions and made my visit worth while and look forward to my next appointment. The front desk associates were very nice and polite and were so courteous in setting up my next follow up visit with Dr Sun.

MD Sun was arrogant, argumentative, talked over me, belittled me and many of statements I made, was disrespectful of other MD's I had consulted if they weren't surgeons or weren't up to his personal standards and in my opinion, lacked curiosity. He made his diagnosis, useless as it was, based on 2 year old MRI and x-ray scans. I had offered to take a new MRI but he stated this wasn't necessary as nothing "changed much" in the spine area over time, so old scans were OK! You can't be serious, I thought!
