Dr. Walker treated my mother at her assisted living facility. He was very unresponsive and caused her urinary tract infection to go untreated for over a week because of his unwillingness to treat her with a broad spectrum antibiotic. He finally ordered the antibiotic only after she had lost her mobility and became bedridden with the infection. He never came to see her. Dr. Walker has provided amazing care to both of my parents, who are in their eighties. He is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner.
My father was under the care of Dr. Walker, and I've know him in a professional sense myself, for a long period of time. My father passed away on 8/15, and I never received a phone call nor any expression of condolences in regards to his death. To me, that's poor ethical etiquette, especially for someone who's life profession involves caring for people.
