Dr. Weaver himself is a great surgeon. He operated me for apnea, and although didn't cure it completely (it is hard with soft tissue surgery anyway), but my condition got markedly better. He spent lots of time with me, and answered all my questions. But his staff at Harborview hospital is horrible. The surgery scheduler, Gazelle, tried very hard to _not_ schedule my surgery. I finally stopped being Dr. Weaver's patient solely because it become impossible to work with UW administrative staff.

Dr Weaver really is the best. He listened to everything I had to say and answered all my questions. He is also a very talented surgeon. If you want the best care look no further.
Had surgery last month under the care of Dr. Weaver, super knowledgeable guy! My first major surgery and I only wanted what was absolutely needed and he and his team pinpointed what would help me. I gotta say I'm not even fully healed but his work has been life changing! Highly recommend him and his team which were all wonderful! I went through the VA which due to covid complicated things a bit on the scheduling end but they made it seem seamless.
Very disappointed with my care with Edward Weaver. He failed to listen to me about my symptoms and instead relied heavily on data which did not mirror the symptoms I was experiencing. When I was sick and needed help, he told me multiple times he'd "think about it" and leave me hanging for months. Everything that is wrong with the health care system.
