He’s been my doctor for several years. Always excellent care from Dr Penick and his staff. Knowledgeable, caring, willing to spend time explaining procedures. He did my cataract surgery several years ago. I experienced excellent results.
I am 67 years old and an avid outdoorsman. I hunt, fish, and actively participate with my son and grandchildren in baseball, basketball, etc. Earlier this fall during bow-season I noticed my right eye's vision was not as clear as I'm accustom to. Dr. Penick diagnosed an early stage cataract, and performed the surgery. Avoid at all cost. Just HorribleHorrible experience, The front desk clerical staff was horrible. They made prejudice comments out loud where they could be hear, and were highly unprofessional. They will insult and try to ridicule vulnerable adults instead of being professional. I found this Dr to be rude , condescending , and dismissive I located other services in Little Rock which were much more caring. Also , the office environment was totally chaotic with long waits . This is not how to treat paying customers .
Dr.Penick and Staff have an exceptional Professional and Kind demeanor. My Vision restored after the Laser proccedure . KUDOS!
Contact prescription had expired by 2 weeks and he would not extend in order to order more contacts before I could get in to see him again. Just wants to rack up the $300 for the eye exam plus prescription fee.
The doctor himself is experienced and good. The follow up visit was quite maddening. Told to be there at 1 and finally got back to the office at 2:20. And that was just getting back to a room. Still waiting to see the doctor as I'm writing this. This was after watching people go back that came on after us and told that they get to go first. If they aren't planning on getting us in anywhere near the scheduled time don't set the time for that.
Dr. Penick was easy to visit with and was willing to spend the time necessary to explain my situation to me.
