We can't say enough good things about our experience with Dr. Joy. When our son broke his arm, the orthopedic surgeon at Riverside said they could not fix a standard broken elbow and deferred us to Chicago where we would have had to wait more than a week for surgery. We were able to get in touch with Dr. Joy at St. Mary's who offered to do the surgery the following morning. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Dr Joy was very thorough, knowledgeable, and explained to me what my options were.
Dr Joy was very pleasant and although I refused a “normal” mri machine for my shoulder as I’m very claustrophobic, he set a vertical one up for me. That’s the only kind I can do. Overall a great experience.
