I expected more from my experience with Edward Jones. Do your due diligence and know what to expect beforehand. Understand the fees are high at 1.5% of every dollar invested, along with an annual $75 fee. If you open a taxable brokerage, your money will be invested in mutual funds where you will earn high capital gains, without selling any stock.
