I went to the Broomall office by mistake last week instead of the Media office. I was about 45 minutes late getting to the Media office and even though it was close to closing time, Dr Mekel waited for me and did a very thorough job of examining my eyes and explaining everything he was doing. I can't express enough how grateful I was to him and his staff for accommodating me by staying late. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I will recommend Dr. Merkel to all my friends.

I met Dr. Mekel in January 2026 for the first time. I have been to see Dr. Jahnle a few years before, but broke my frames and had to work on getting new ones immediately. I found him to be pleasant, thorough and detailed in what he was doing. Surprise, I have cataracts which was no surprise, but he explained everything. His assistant was also great.
