Dr. McFarland is an exceptional expert. He's not only extremely knowledgeable and has outstanding expertise; he's also kind, approachable, and congenial. Observing him do an initial assessment is like poetry in motion -- and he managed to undo the damage from two previous failed procedures and restore my range of motion. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
He did an amazing job. Doesn't matter what happened under John Hopkins this orthopedic doctor knows his stuff. I am not in any extreme pain. Just a little here and there but I just know it will heal and my total reverse shoulder replacement will get me back into the gym and fishing. Even though he can't help who he works with him as a doctor and person I am honored to have.
Today I waited three hours to see Dr McFarland. This was absolutely the worst experience I ever had. Even though he apologized. I feel the office manager needs to have coordination of appointments done correctly. Dr McFarland said he saw numerous patients scheduled after me by the office staffs mistake. I have never been so upset with a visit. Some one should be held responsible for this. They totally forgot about me
Dr. McFarland performed a complete reverse shoulder replacement on my left shoulder in February 2022. It works so well and without any pain that I can't even tell I had it done. Excellent surgeon in excellent facility. Excellent personality and bedside manner.
Dr. McFarland performed a surgery to repair my left shoulder. Surgery was performed on this shoulder previously; however, it was not done properly. I am happy with the outcome of a reverse shoulder replacement. I'm back again for Dr McFarland to mend the damage to the right shoulder, due to a fall.
