It's more than 1 visit. I started seeing him as my primary physician 18 months ago and have been trying to switch to another. (once you start working with him, they don't want to switch you to another doctor in the same office). I think he's probably a nice enough person, but he doesn't pay attention. I feel like he either has too many other things on his mind, or he's just arrogant and doesn't think he needs to listen. It's like trying to talk to a brick wall. I obtained an appointment for a physical from Dr Chen. I noted my reason for an appointment when I made the appointment and in the online questionnaire they sent prior to my visit. When I appeared for my appointment I was told by the receptionist that Dr. Chen does not perform physicals. Really?? Why does his information online say that he offers preventive care? I am dumbfounded and I am never going back to see him. What a total waste of my time. I will find another physician.
I was a new client he rushed me threw my appointment Everything I told him went in one ear out the other. He was no help even with basic needs. Will never go back or recommend him to anyone
I was so nervous for my test to come back, There was no blood in my stool. Big relief. Thank you Dr. Chen for caring about my health.
Great from beginning to the end. The experience from going to get new client paperwork from the staff which was GREAT to the nurse that took my vitals and my family history was GREAT to seeing Dr. Chen who was awesome and seemed to care about my health and wellbeing!!!
Very knowledgeable, but had a hard time brainstorming alternatives when typical treatments were not effective.
Awesome doctor! Very knowledgeable! Great bedside manner! Would definitely recommend! Mercy billing dept needs help! Too many hands handling accounts, nobody knows what's going on, & when I asked for billing records, billing office said they'd mail them, but they were never seen! I had to call Dr. Chen's office manager, Cheri, for help! Cheri is wonderful! Feel very comfortable! Only complaint is with Mercy billing!
