Great bedside manner, very informative and polite staff. Prompt in returning calls or being brief on holds. The only thing I could possibly be upset about is on my 2 most recent visits I have seen dead birds. This last one was particularly upsetting as it was half under my tire.
Been going there for years. Nice guy, personable, Offers an array of therapies and tells you where you are, where you need to be, and has a good "bedside manner". Front desk staff and nutritionist are good. Always have a good experience there. Stays current and offers news on the latest and greatest.
Have been a patient of several endocrinologists. Dr La Cava is far and away the best. Unlike the others, he knows how to read insulin pump settings, and make decisions on their adjustments. Others have not used pumps or deferred to the manufacturers rep to work with me on settings. He spent an hour on my initial review. In the exam, he gave me a full physical, chastized me for not trimming my toenails (which he trimmed!), discussed other problems, etc. My BG profiles are already showing improvements.
