Dr. Alfrey was my doctor when I was admitted into the hospital at Marin General. I found him to be arrogant, uncaring, he dismissed my pain, and he misdiagnosed me. I had just undergone a massive surgery that I had to fly to Atlanta for. It took a team of very specialized surgeons to do the procedure. May have 37 years experience, but has no bedside skills. He could benefit from taking some lessons from nursing staff or other doctors or maybe it’s time to retire! If you can’t be kind, it’s time to move on.
Dr Alfrey is any incredibly skilled surgeon. He not only saved my life, Dr Alfrey managed to save much more of several organs than most thought possible. I can recommend him fully.
Due to Dr. Alfrey’s excellent management of my illness and the hospital to which he fought to find a room for me, it is my opinion that his good judgement more than likely saved my life!this was in Oct.-Nov 2018
