Dr. Guzman is not the problem he is such a great Dr. It's his front desk and SOME nurses who are the problem...trying to get prior authorizations is a nightmare you have to be on top of them calling them and making sure they get on it asap and then to be told they only do priors 1 day a week is ridiculous! I just don't understand if a person needs a medication they have to wait because they only do it once a week and even then they say they didn't receive no fax from the pharmacy and want exact day and time the pharmacy sent... read more
Visit the clinic on Monday (located in Penitas) was told to go back on Tuesday which I did. I was tested for flue and Covid and was sent home to expect a telephone call (tested positive to one of the two and was not even given instructions on what to do including no excuse for school or work). Medicines were sent to the wrong pharmacy, it is day 3 going on four and I haven't been able to receive any medication. I love Dr. Guzman but his staff is horrible. It's common to be left on hold for hours and when you do get through they ignore your requests.
Use to be a very good provider, lately the service has gone down. Tried getting them to send medical records to my new provider for over 6 months, they have yet to be sent.
Needed prescriptions refill and make appointment for 3 month check up for my elderly mother. Tried for almost a week, with no luck. I finally had to drive to their office to resolve the situation. Dr. Guzmán is great doctor. Front office is willfully understaffed and overbooked and ultimately the responsibility and the blame lies with the doctors in that office.
Been a patient for years as well as my family and I can honestly say that his patients health is at heart
Dr Guzman, is a Good Doctor. His staff on the other hand are very unprofessional. They do not follow up with patients requests, and are rude on the phone. Dr. Guzman I recommend you have a conversation with your staff.
Great doctor
My appointment was at 10:25 am and it's 12:16pm and still waiting to see the doctor. They are extremely overbooked and need to learn how to schedule appropriately. The staff don't even acknowledge the patients to make at ease.
