We are so sad today! Because we have to leave this winter wonderland haven !!! From the moment we arrived at Edson Hill the holiday was perfection! The staff are so amenable, professional and fun! The rooms are designed in luxurious country theme which made us feel like we stepped back in time but with all the modern conveniences. Wonderful luxurious authentic Vermont experience!
We have stayed here every winter for the last six years and it is one of our favorite places on earth. So much of the skiing life is taken over by big, corporate resorts, but Edson Hill has all the charm of New England as one dreams of it. The food is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable and attractive, the people there are all kind and friendly (shout-out to Nick), and we would happily go every winter for the rest of our lives.
From the moment we entered the Manor House, we were treated as welcomed friends. The ambience is casual luxury and invites you to enjoy the public spaces and chat with other guests. Sitting in front of the fire finishing up dessert and drinks was a highlight. Also, don’t miss the tavern and be sure to explore the Nordic trails. We were in heaven.
