Great little place. I loved the concept of the outbuildings that contain the rooms - I stayed in one of the King rooms. Not having everyone clustered in the main house made it feel less full or busy. Clean and comfy furnishings. Fireplace was a really awesome add on. It is about a 15 minute drive to the mountain. It is a very quiet and serene spot tucked away in the woods. Really beautiful. The grounds are stunning and snow shoeing is accessible for all ages and abilities. We visited Edson Hill for a long, snowy weekend with our teenager. The location was close enough to restaurants and ski areas, but it has the benefit of being in a quiet and pristine area away from crowds and cars. The property is gorgeous and has well-marked walking trails. Management and staff are professional and friendly, and their love for the business is clear.
