The place and rooms are fantastic, furnished with great taste. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The dinner menu is extremely limited, and if you stay more than one night it quickly becomes a problem. The staff is friendly but clearly not professionally trained. Even basic bread is not served with dinner. The “continental breakfast included” is poor and disappointing. We hosted a Rehearsal Dinner and stayed 3 night. Perfection at all aspects. It now ranks as one of the best places we have stayed and we travel alot. I wouldnt hesitate for a minute to recommend his place for anything from a weekend getaway to a wedding. cant wait to return .
My wife and I stayed for 4 nights. Everything was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful. We walked the property several times. The room was beautiful, warm and comfortable. Dinner was delicious in a pretty outdoor setting. The chef very accommodating to my wife's vegetarian restrictions. Private and quiet but only 10 minutes to downtown Stowe.
