My wife and I stayed at Edson Hill this summer for our babymoon, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The property is pure Vermont charm—rolling hills, a peaceful pond, horses grazing in the distance, and even deer wandering by. It’s quiet, intimate, and wonderfully restorative. The place and rooms are fantastic, furnished with great taste. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The dinner menu is extremely limited, and if you stay more than one night it quickly becomes a problem. The staff is friendly but clearly not professionally trained. Even basic bread is not served with dinner. The “continental breakfast included” is poor and disappointing.
