It's Ed's, so you know what to expect from the 50s throwback chain. While the burgers aren't maybe the best in town, the atmosphere is always cheerful and the milkshakes are very good.
Burgers are rank with a mushy bun, the chef went to use the toilets in the middle of cooking then blue his dam nose and continued, staff look unclean with poor English and to top it off its expensive as hell for the site they serve
The only thing I really liked about my meal, was my drink and they didn't even make that - it was a Sprite! I ordered the 'Cheese or Cheese' burger which came with chips, coleslaw and onion rings. My friend I was with ordered a veggie burger and that honestly looked better and smelt better than mine. My cheeseburger was so bland all I could taste were the pickles, not to mention the meat had so much gristle it was gross. Great all American burger, really good taste, not too over priced. I highly recommend the Ed's plate, you get onion rings, coleslaw and chips and the choice of a 8oz beef patty for a few quid extra. Bottomless drinks, chilli dogs and thick shakes not more you could ask for from a burger joint.
