I have been a loyal customer of Edo Japan in Fort Richmond for 5 years. Last Saturday, my family and I visited Edo Japan Fort Richmond during dinner time. The store was packed, and it was clear that it was busier than usual with people eating in, taking away, and ordering delivery. The two staff at the front were very welcoming, polite, and efficient. I don’t want to left this negative feedback because their food is really good but this happens twice with me. Very disappointing experience. As a paying customer, I was shocked to be denied access to the washroom. The lady, dont know her name she wears glasses was rude and dismissive when asked. Basic customer courtesy was completely lacking. This left a very negative impression, and this is not good for regular customers.

Since Kenaston location shut down we drive further as we enjoy EDO. We are told it’ll be a 30 min wait!!!!, as they have a big order coming in but not in yet. The manager gives us attitude about it and says we just have to wait while the cashier, she was very nice about it. Perhaps as a manager, being more professional and taking the cashiers politeness is a training opportunity. Very disappointing as the other locations are friendly and helpful and never rude or some sort of issue. Very disappointing.
