My kids always order beef udon soup from this place, for years. Today , they made a mistake and added hot spices to it, so they could not eat it . When I called to report it , the guy on the line insisted at all costs that it did not have hot spices regardless of several explanations I tried. I offered to bring it to him and he insisted on being right with extreme resilience. I cannot believe the level of stubbornness over a soup. Never coming back, prefer to drive further away.
I love edo, i will get it any chance i get. I’ve never been promoted to tip at an edo but i know that a lot of the machines just come like that. The lady who took my order side stepped over to the machine as i was paying. i waited a moment before clicking anything on the machine as she was hovering over it, not looking at me but watching to see what i would click. i clicked no tip and she aggressively rolled her eyes at me. This is fast food we’re talking about, you should not be getting visibly upset that i didn’t tip.
I recently went to Edo Japan and had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place for Japanese food. I’m not sure how authentic the cuisine is, but I really enjoyed the chicken dish served with rice. Ashu took my order and kindly served the meal at my table, excellent service overall. The entire staff was friendly, the customer service and food quality were outstanding. There was also a lady who I believe was the manager; she was quick, attentive, and very polite with customers. I was this location with my son and me. We order food. We ate. I oder food to pickup to go. I found customer service so poor. First the customer service did not put the food on box. When I asked, she did. Second, she did not put fork and spoon. I cane from my car to restaurant inside and asked whether she put fork and spoon. She just directed me to pickup. I ask her whether she put towel paper, she mentioned no. Pickup food means we eat in the car while driving or in office. What kinds of customer service this location has, ... read more
