Went to this Edo few times. I only realized recently (after my accountant pointed it out during tax filing) that every receipt from this location shows “amount due” instead of “paid,” even though I always pay in full. Now that I think about it, whenever I pay cash, the receipt is rarely given unless I ask. And when I do ask, the transaction seems to be entered again, which is not normal. The lady serving made me feel like I was an inconvenience. She didn’t smile once and barely acknowledged me apart from taking my order. It was 5:30 with closing being at 7 yet everything had obviously been put away. She had to keep going to the back to get everything she needed, the tongs for the spring rolls, the serving/cooking utensils even the food. great location to eat with family
First edo I have been in where the fountain drink was not included in my bento box meal. Had to pay separately after I never received a cup. The california roll i received seemed pretty old and not fresh. Is this normal for edo now or just this location?
