My closing was one of the worst I've experienced. I asked for a copy of all of the paperwork at least a week in advance. I got one document that had a mistake. When I arrived at closing, the mistake had not been corrected and I had 5 or 6 other documents requiring my signature, several of which needed edits before I would sign them. Unlike other closing companies with which I've worked, the buyer wasn't required to provide the funds in advance and brought a personal check to closing.
