I came in seeking a tonsillectomy for recurrent strep and had already been told by my primary doctor that I was a candidate. At my first visit, this was confirmed, along with additional tests and suggested procedures. I was then told I’d need to see another named provider who still does the surgery, ideally during an active infection. I had a horrible experience with the Williamsburg location and I’m lucky I gave another location a try. They let me change appointment time the day of to accommodate me better. The receptionist was a polar opposite of the man I spoke to at the other location: she was super friendly; explained everything in detail, even wrote down insurance billing codes and was super patient with me.
