Never heard some of the words used. Asking for help or definition was ignored. After a 30-minute talk, I was feeling much worse than before the call... Seems like they found ways not to help by aggrandizing suicidal ideals...
After asking for mental health assistance from my doctor, I was called by these folks months later... Very uncomfortable experience. I felt they spoke down to me. Not sure why they called or what heppened. Never heard some of the words used and was not given definition. Asking for help, or definition, was ignored. I was referred to the clinic by my family doctor to get a 24h BP monitor. The reception staff were very nice and the nurse who handled my BP monitor (Yirgalem Beyin) was kind, knowledgeable and took her time to answer questions, explain my results, and talk about the importance of lifestyle changes for an optimal BP.
I have had nothing but great experience with this and the Calgary office! Kind, caring, invested assistance from everyone I have had contact with! I think we all should be more patience and understanding and try to remember that these professionals are dealing with thousands+ of people!
Not disability friendly. Unwilling to make the basic accommodations for disabled people to get help for their disabilities. Social Worker, Mental Health should be able to fully and completely understand the barriers their patients have. Instead of helping they harm.
