I am a dual ticketed technician myself. Brought my project car in for an alignment. I didn't bother checking the front end before, which is my bad. They proceeded to do a full evaluation on my car and sent me numerous quotes for unrelated work to be completed. Was told they just need to test drive vehicle and I'll be good to go. After over 2 hours wait, they said they couldn't do the alignment because ALL tie rods and ball joints need to be replaced.
