It was a recent visit due to family doctor was not available. First I called and a nurse noted down all my concern for my son. In a short time I already got a call back said we should go in and let the doctor check in detail. We thought was a strep throat, but lab results confirmed in 2 days was not, when the nurse delivery the lab results, she very caring and asked if my son has any improvement or any other concern. Who operates the Urgent Primary Care Centre? Who is responsible for operating these types of clinics? There have never been doctors on site here to see patients who need medical attention. It has been the same situation for the past seven years.
Took my sick child on a Sunday morning. Staff saw us waiting and actually opened early to see us, I was very impressed. Staff were quick, efficient, and friendly towards my child. Everything ran smoothly, thank you Fraser Health staff!
Just don't bother coming here. EVER. They never seem to have a doctor available in person. Instead of actually receiving care, I was handed a list of other clinics. This has happened to me 3 times now. What exactly is the point of an urgent and primary care centre if a sick person comes in needing to be examined and there is no doctor there to examine them? Save yourself the time and frustration and go somewhere else.
