I recently had an incredibly off-putting experience at Edmonds Clinic that I feel compelled to share with anyone looking for a long-term family doctor. After waiting to find a family practice, I was scheduled for a 12:00 PM intake appointment. Due to the difficult parking situation on this busy street, I walked through the door at 12:01 PM. My experience with Dr. Sarabi has been a nothing short of positive. He is professional, punctual, and reliable. I feel comfortable communicating my needs and that they will be adequately addressed. Overall I'm very satisfied with my experiences here.
Dr. Sarabi took over this clinic some years ago and has been our doctor since then. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and will educate and explain in plain language what might be a complex medical issue. He is definitely current on medical trends. He will also follow-up with you on test results on a very timely manner. If there's a chance he can accommodate new patients, I would recommend Dr. Ali Sarabi.
Today I attended my first appointment with Dr. Ali Sarabi for our meet and greet. Let me preface this by saying I was in fact a few minutes late, because this was my first time at this clinic and I am unfamiliar with this area of Burnaby and unfamiliar with the parking situation at this location, which led me to scramble a little bit. Wish I could give 0 stars. Brought my grandma in several times and Dr. Sabari was horrible. Rude, snappy and not a good doctor. Constantly was doubting what my grandma should and shouldn’t have even thought she’s been on certain meds for years. Ended up taking her off something she had been on for 4 years and since then she declined and I had to find her a better doctor who could put her back on this important medication. Took advantage of her old age and vulnerability.
