In my honest opinion Dr. Ramani is a miracle worker (along with the remainder of the EMOG staff). I’m now two months post-op from my second circumferential shoulder labrum tear repair, and I can’t remember the last time I felt so alive - and yes the good doctor stitched me back together not just once, but twice!

My 87-year old mother had an appointment at 11:15 a.m. today at the Parsonage Rd, Edison location and finally saw the doctor after 2 p.m. for a gel injection that took less than 3 minutes to administer. This facility apparently has no regard for its patient's and family's time. I would give it a zero star if allowed. I won't ever go back again.

Dr. Nilesh Patel did an Achilles tendon repair on me in June 2021 that was never right and still bothers me today. When I complained after 6 months that the pain was just as bad if not worse than before the surgery, he basically threw up his hands and said that there was nothing he could do. When I subsequently saw another orthopedist, she said the surgery was not necessary and that Dr Patel had prescribed the wrong type of PT.

Lower back spasmed over the weekend and my provider retired. He usually prescribes some standard medicines (steroids and muscle relaxant) to get me through these episodes and sends me to rehab. I called this group as an alternative to him, but they told me they only see patients for “pain management” and that I should see a different group, specializing in spinal surgery. I don’t need surgery because my retired orthopedic said this doesn’t require it yet. Plus, I prefer non-interventional routes until I have no choices left.... read more
