It was my first visit. Dr Goncalves came highly recommend to me by one of my present trusted medical doctors of over 40 years. I could tell that Dr. Goncalves is very knowledgeable of my medical needs based on my past experience and Doctor, Patient relationship with my retired Endocrinologist. Dr. Goncalves was very kind, empathetic & knowledgable in thyroid disease and took his time with me. He didn't make me feel rushed not one time during my appointment. He was very helpful in explaining his diagnosis regarding my health and helped put my mind at ease about what I have experienced with a very complex health profile as a rare disease patient. I would highly recommend him to any patient looking for a great endocrinologist which is very hard to find in the Birmingham area.
Dr. Goncalves is a great doctor. Professional and friendly. He checks every detail and finds what works. I highly recommend him.
