RecommendedSo lovely — history, science, botanic gardens, architecture, and waterfront views all in one place. I took the guided tour and spent all day going through the gardens, museum, laboratory, and shops. Stopped for lunch at Pinchers to fuel up as a mid day break. Delightful! The whole day.
Historic Ft Myers estate, tourist spot.
Leaned a lot of how two of our countries most admired men spent the good winters in Ft Myers and their contributions and associaton with one another. Even the younger kids enjoyed the tour.
Lots of history. A fun time. The concerts on the river are wonderful. Must watch the weather and wind as it is outside and can be chilly. Great experience.
The grounds are beautiful, with rare specimens of trees,the homes are gorgeous with the original furnishings, the museum and gardens are wonderful,would recommend all to visit when you come to Fort Myers
